Kindergarten

The Kindergarten with Ace and Christi program is designed to develop the basic skills which prepare a child to be ready to learn to read. Children ages 3-5 years old who are entering Kindergarten, and any child who are diagnosed “Not ready to read” (after having taken the ABC’s with Ace and Christi Reading Readiness Test) should be enrolled in the Kindergarten program for the full year. Cartoon animal songs and stories, PACE’s, physical development activities, arts, and Bible stories are employed to foster quick learning of the letter sounds. These also encourage understanding of number concepts and word relationships, strengthens visual, auditory and coordination skills as well as building Christian character
Not all children will master a concept or skill at the same time. However, each child should have evidence of improvement or attainment after a reasonable length of time. Remember, each child is individually unique and therefore be encouraged to do his/her best day by day to enable to learn basic skills before the year is completed
