SAT Preparation 2026-2027
Starting Date: 13.7.2026, Monday
Dear students,
I am Ms. Hnaung, and I will supervise your SAT preparation, especially in Math. Ms. Kathy (Ahlon) and Ms. Lourdes (Insein) will help you with Reading and Writing.
Let’s start with accounts creation.
1. Create an email account for academic purpose. If you already have one, that’s good. Use this email only to sign up other accounts.
2. Sing up a “Student” account at College Board. https://account.collegeboard.org/login/signUp
Use your official “Full Name” and relevant data because you have to use these data when you take the “SAT Test”.
3. Download “Bluebook app” on your laptop. https://bluebook.collegeboard.org/students/download-bluebook
Bluebook is a testing application from College Board. Students use Bluebook to take the digital SAT Test. Bluebook is the app where you practice, complete exam setup, access your admission ticket, and take the exam on test day.
You can use the same account for College Board to log in to the Bluebook as they have the same source.
3. Create a Learner account at Khan Academy https://www.khanacademy.org/signup .
Please use the same email for College Board. Then provide me the email you used (by Saturday) and I will add you in Khan Academy Preparation classes to assign the tasks for each week.

Dear students,
Taking PSAT 8/9 and PSAT 10 practice tests on the College Board Bluebook App before starting SAT courses helps you establish a realistic score baseline, become familiar with digital testing tools, understand time management during a test, and identify specific knowledge gaps for you to improve.
You have now finished two practice tests for the PSAT 8/9. Make sure you review the reasons of each mistake you made on practice tests so you may learn from them. This will help you get better at each test.
This is how you can review your previous tests.

Under “Score Details”, you can see all the questions and choose “Review” where your answer was “Incorrect”. Check “Show correct answer and explanation”. Once you understand that concept, you will not make the same mistake again.

Starting on coming Monday, you will be receiving the Math assignments for each week. It will be due on Saturday as usual. However, if you can complete the assignments during the week days by managing your time wisely, that’s great. You don’t need to wait until Saturday. But sometimes if you have tight schedule, you can work on Saturday. You get the idea, right?
